Loveable plus-size heroine Tracy Turnblad has a passion for dancing and wins a spot on the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show. Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. Can a larger-than-life adolescent manage to vanquish the program’s reigning princess, integrate the television show, and find true love (singing and dancing all the while, of course!) without mussing her hair? Shield and Storm: 20th Anniversary of the Persian Gulf War

In the First Persian Gulf War (August 1990-February 1991), the United States, and 33 of its allies, coordinated to expel Iraqi forces from Kuwait. Although called “The Mother of All Battles” by Saddam Hussein, the Gulf War is remembered for how quickly the Iraqi forces collapsed in the face of superior American military technology.
